Mountain laurel

This is 'Kalmia' or Mountain laurel. This tree has many other names: 'America-Shakunage', 'Hanagasa-Syakunage', 'Spoon-no-Ki' etc. The botanical name is Kalmia latifolia.





The shape of the flower is very mysterious and interesting!
