Common venus'looking glass

This is 'Kikyousou' or Common venus'looking glass. The other Japanese name is 'Dandan-gikyou'. The botanical name is Specularia perfoliata.







The Japanese word 'Dandan' means the state something is increasing gradually, and it comes from the positions of the leaves of this plant.
