Bird's Foot Lotus
This is 'Seiyou-Miyako-gusa' or bird's foot lotus. The other English name is bird's foot trefoil. The botanical name is Lotus comiculatus var. corniculatus.
While the normal 'Miyako-gusa' contains two flowers in a stem, 'Seiyou-Miyako-gusa' have 1 to 5 flowers in a stem.
I found the normal one, though it is cloudy picture...
This was taken at Tojinbou in Fukui the other day (^_^)
