In Tokyo a former pilot of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and a female high school student began to live together...

This is the first book of 'Jieitai-Sanbusaku' or Japanese Self-Defense Forces three series. And this is also the combination of her first book 'Shio-no Machi' and the sequel to the story 'Shio-no Machi Sono-go'. The story is a science fiction and called light novels in Japan. (also in abroad?) I like her books, and I'd like to continue reading this series.

"Tosyokan Kakumei" by ARIKAWA Hiro

This is the fourth and the last book of 'Tosyokan Sensou' series. The main theme of this series is, I think, the freedom of expression, which is guaranteed in the Constitution of Japan. A side story is love story of many couples ^^;;; So the style is something like comedies.

The main couple is DOUJYOU Atsushi and KASAHARA Iku, a teacher and the student of the library army which is created against the media cleaning committee which had a power to do inspection. So many battles are described in this series.

A terrorist group attacked a nuclear power plant which locates in Fukui prefecture, Japan. It was soon suppressed, but a rumor was spread - saying that the terrorists learned many knowledge about the attack of nuclear plants. So the media cleaning committee tried to catch the author Touma, but the library army sheltered him from the committee...

"Hankyu Densya" by ARIKAWA Hiro

Hankyu Densya is a private railroad running at Kansai region, the west part of Japan. This district includes large three cities Koube, Osaka, and Kyoto. There run also JR (Japan Railway) and Hanshin Densya. The bodies of Hankyu Densya are chocolate color and run on the mountain side, which is known to be a region rich people are living. So this train is regarded as smart. There is a local line called Imazu-sen in Hankyu Densya lines. Main part of this line has only 8 stations, and it takes about 15 minutes from the end to the other end. But around this line there are many episodes of loves... This book contains such short stories.
