Internet Banking

I registered the internet banking system in the bank where I recently
opened my account. There I can check the status of my account, can
transfer it, can make new accounts. There are many way to secure the
internet banking systems.

The bank system above mentioned is like this.
1. register some answers for some private questions
2. send back the signed printout after the process 1
3. login ID is sent to the registered e-mail address
4. check the ID and the registered answers and create two passwords:
one is for login, and the other is for funds transfer

Since we have to mail the printout, it takes some time before we can
use the internet banking system. But this system seems to be a high
security one.

Uuuuu

Nothing goes well today!

Better to take a rest this weekend? or ...

New Face

A new person who will work with us from next month have already come
today (@_@)

He will come here from the different part of our organization, that
is, he will not be employed newly. I think he is the first man who
came to the new office before the appointed date... though he came
today to take over from the former person.

Anyway many new comers appear soon from now!

Send Money (after the previous log)

I asked the bank whether it has such intermediate bank or not. The
answer was 'NO' as I thought. So I decided to push the company to
proceed only with that information. If it fails, maybe I have to
change the bank to another one whose intermediate bank I know...

Send Money

A trouble about the money transfer to a bank account occurred.

In Japan we can send money directly to any bank. I thought this is
also possible in a foreign country, especially in advanced countries.
But the answer is NO???

I asked a company in the USA to transfer money into a bank account in
the USA. But they required the intermediate bank account etc...

In Japan we can easily specify a bank number, a branch number, an
account number, and the name of the account holder. On the other
hand, in the US I thought an ABA number corresponds to a bank number.
I also passed the SWIFT code for this transfer...

The problem comes from the mistake either mine or the company's. I'm
going to explain my understanding as well as I will ask for the bank
whether such intermediate banks exist or not. (-_-;;;

Open on Sundays

The city hall in my city is open on Sundays of the end (beginning) of
this (next) FY, and we can transfer the inhabitant's ledger
(Jyumin-daityou), and/or the proof of tax payment can be gotten.

The services of city/town halls seem to be convenient these days. On
the web sites I could find the notices that many city/town halls in
Japan provide the same services. When I came here about 9 years ago,
I had to take a half-day holiday to do it. How convenient it becomes!

Concerning the procedures of public offices, I remembered that the
driving license has been changed to the IC card type one in some
districts in Japan... I found that the area is Tokyo, Saitama,
Ibaraki, Shimane, and Hyogo which includes my address... My present
driving ID will become invalid in some months from now, so probably
the additional 450 yen for the new-type license card will be necessary
on next conversion... (-_-;;;
